Summary from goodreads.com:
Scott Pilgrim's life is totally sweet. He's 23 years old, he's in a rock band, he's "between jobs," and he's dating a cute high school girl. Nothing could possibly go wrong, unless a seriously mind-blowing, dangerously fashionable, rollerblading delivery girl named Ramona Flowers starts cruising through his dreams and sailing by him at parties. Will Scott's awesome life get turned upside-down? Will he have to face Ramona's seven evil ex-boyfriends in battle? The short answer is yes. The long answer is Scott Pilgrim, Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life.
I didn't know about Scott Pilgrim's graphic novels until my boyfriend made me watch the movie trailer. It is one of my firsts graphic novel, and it was awesome!

Funny and original. Scott is a 20-something boy who doesn't have a job, likes 2 girls, plays at a crappy band and sleeps in the same bed with his gay friend. He was very funny and I liked him from the beginning.

Ramona is one of the girls. Scott likes her, but to be with her he have to fight all of her ex boyfriends...and this is the moment I couldn't stop laughing. It was kind of a WTF moment when the first of Ramona's ex-boyfriend appeared, but I liked it.

The art work is really simple. Sometimes I got confused with some characters (lol) but it works for this novel. The characters are very expressive, and I just couldn't stop laughing at their faces.

It's a light reading, and I read it very fast. Can't wait to read the complete series.
